We are seeking a Stevedoring Foreperson to join our supervisory team in Mount Maunganui.

The Stevedoring Foreperson supervises the loading and/or unloading of cargo on vessels arriving at the port.
Cargo handled by the company includes:

• Round-wood (logs)
• Lumber
• Processed forest products such as paper and plywood
• Grain and bulk products
• Coal
• Containers
• Palletised and reefer cargo
• General break-bulk and heavy lift projects

This is a role that requires individuals that can lead a team of workers in an environment that is fast paced and involving heavy machinery and equipment.
As attitude is all important you will be a passionate, energetic and enthusiastic leader with dynamic leadership skills.
You must be able to work shifts and weekends and be physically fit and computer literate.

The Stevedoring Foreperson must communicate well with people at all levels and have a passion for the outdoors, shipping and cargo logistics.

We are specifically seeking skilled operators and have preference to those that have experience in the forestry industry or those who have had extensive plant operating experience. Candidates with similar machine operating experience could be considered. The ideal applicant will also have the relevant licences, be safety conscious, and have a proven work history.

Transport Coordinator
Port logistics - kiwifruit exports

ISO Limited is an industry leader in logistics and cargo handling on the NZ waterfront and due to continued growth we are pleased to announce a new key appointment to our logistics team. The Transport Coordinator will be primarily focused on servicing our Kiwifruit Export operation which is responsible for the handling, storage, loadout and documentation for over 250,000 pallets of Kiwifruit a year in addition to a wide variety of export products we handle all year round

The objective of this position is to liaise daily with road transport operators and coolstores in and around the Bay of Plenty region and to coordinate the transportation of Kiwifruit to the port. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a high standard of communication with all parties to ensure that the transportation of product runs smoothly and efficiently.

This position suits candidates that have excelled in the transport/freight forwarding industry including those that have proven experience in transport dispatch and/or supervision. Candidates must have excellent planning, scheduling and communications skills and be able to work under pressure and as part of team.
