ISO Stevedoring

We have a proud history of stevedoring on the New Zealand waterfront and ISO is rated as an industry leader in all aspects of cargo handling. We safely and efficiently manage millions of tonnes of cargo each year onto and off hundreds of vessels through 7 ports throughout New Zealand. Our highly skilled and motivated workforce consists of 4 regional managers, 24 operations managers and over 300 full time and casual staff.

Our personnel are supported through our head office in Tauranga where we have a dedicated administrative and operational team. ISO stevedoring utilises state of the art IT systems (SHIPsys™) developed in house through our IT Solutions team. SHIPsys™ provides seamless data transfer, vessel planning and execution. ISO utilises shipside wireless scanning systems enabling our operations managers to manage all vessels and cargo to meet exact customer requirements thereby ensuring all cargos are loaded or discharged in specification and on time.

Plant

14m3 mechanical grabs, 18m3 motorised grabs, 14.5m3 motorised grabs for discharging all types of bulk cargos.
Numerous 20 foot and 40 foot spreaders for loading and discharging containers as well as various lifting beams and bars for handling multiple products and project cargoes
Multiple electric pallet trucks, electric forklifts and various cages and spreaders for handling all types of palletized and food grade cargoes

Training Assessment

NZQA/OSH certified trainers and assessors training personnel on various machinery and SOP.
Pre employment Drug & Alcohol screening combined with full inductions into our various operations to ensure a safe and seamless progression for new employees entering the waterfront.
